HOW TO BE PATIENT (in LA)

April 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$17.85
  • « Petty Cash Studios (in LA)
  • Funny Games @ The Elysian (in LA) »

Izzy has been a standardized patient, or “medical actor”, for eight years. A typical day at work could include anything from pretending to have schizophrenia to performing a live birth simulation, complete with hemorrhage (that’s her favorite). Pull back the hospital curtain to reveal how the doctors of tomorrow are trained to communicate – and maybe get a neuro exam, while you’re at it.

Directed by Jenna Levin
