$17.85
  • « Petty Cash Studios (in LA)
  • Funny Games @ The Elysian (in LA) »

George McAuliffe is a songwriter, comedian and storyteller whose work digs deep into the raw nerves of the human experience with brutal honesty, dark humor, and unexpected tenderness.

His latest project, Zoo Alone, is a collection of songs and stories that function both as standalone gut-punches and as a larger mosaic of humor, heartbreak, and absurdity. Mining the shadows of masculinity, mental health, and modern American despair, McAuliffe has been described as “a teddy bear filled with poison” and “like if John Prine had CTE.” Equal parts hilarious and harrowing, his performances leave audiences torn between hugging him and calling a therapist. In Zoo Alone, he sings beautiful songs about being a man lost in late-stage capitalism — and somehow makes it feel like a shared joke we’re all in on.
