Melissa Stephens: Sparkles (in LA)

October 15, 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$11.33
  • « Dylan Adler presents: Haus of Dy-lan (in NYC)
  • Atwater Chillage (in LA) »

“Sparkles” offers a hilarious glimpse into the experiences of a truly weird millennial as she reflects on every shitty job she has held, from being an elf at Macy’s to a dancing hostess to a telemarketer. The great resignation of 2021 has nothing on how many jobs Mel Stephens has quit. Mel uses her self-deprecating and observational humor to reflect on the absurd and mundane situations life presents to you when you’re broke, which can drive a person mad.

Melissa Stephens is a comedian, writer, and director. Her acting credits include “The New Girl,” “Californication,” “Key and Peele,” “House of Lies,” and “Black Monday.” Melissa created shows for Funny or Die, including “Get Up” with Drew Tarver, and is a former alum of The Groundlings’ Sunday Company.
