Connect The Dots: A Solo Show About Jewish Identity (in NYC)

September 29, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
$18.76
  • « We Can’t Read @ The Glendale Room (near LA)
  • The Tiny Cupboard (in NYC) »

From navigating his cultural identity as a Bukharian Jew to figuring out why he dated a rabbi, Natan Badalov connects the dots of his past in this solo stand-up comedy show.

‘Connect The Dots’ explores Natan’s relationship with Judaism and forces him to confront his past as he looks to his future. Natan is 32 and his mom is pressuring him to get married to a Jew, but he is apprehensive and not sure why. ‘Connect The Dots’ uses two stories – Natan’s break-up with an Ashkenazi Rabbi in New York, and his struggle to feel at home as a Bukharian Jew in America – to laugh and explore the challenges of his Jewish identity.
