The Get Brown (in LA)

With a unique point of view and sharp character performances, The Get Brown tackles the South Asian American identity with hilarious, smart, and dumb sketch comedy. Coming together in 2017, The Get Brown is a group of six above average looking South Asian comedians who create, write, and perform comedy together: Skander Halim, Kausar Mohammed, Shaan Baig, Kunal Dudheker, Saagar Shaikh, & Sai Lang.

As the first all-South Asian sketch show in UCB history, they became an instant phenomenon, selling out every show for 3 years. Only because you asked, they also hold various tv/film writing and performing credits such as: Ghosts, The Marvels, Shang-Chi, Flash, Mo, Silicon Valley, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Big Mouth, The Unicorn, Better Things, What Men Want, and most importantly — an Oscar-winning Walmart commercial.

The Get Brown: Leave Your Shoes at the Door is their third show run of all new sketches. It will answer burning questions like “Have your parents ever seen the sex scene in Titanic?”, “Whatever happened to the model baby on the Parle-G cookie wrapper?”, and “Was Einstein secretly Muslim?” Find out with The Get Brown!
