Kyle Ayers: Hard to Say (in LA)

January 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
$17.85
  • « Petty Cash Studios (in LA)
  • Wrong Answers Only (in LA w/Livestream) »

Kyle Ayers (Conan) makes light of having Trigeminal Neuralgia, a rare nerve disorder known as Suicide Disease. Inherently already a funny topic, I know. Nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe, and fresh off a run Off-Broadway at the SoHo Playhouse, where the show was the top rated Off-Broadway show in New York City for the entirety of the run. Kyle performs his show about his experience living with the disease, getting misdiagnosed for years, getting brain surgery, the successful brain surgery eventually wearing off and what life looks like when you may have tried everything and nothing works. We’ve got to laugh at some point. Beyond Edinburgh Fringe and the SoHo Playhouse, Kyle and the show have been featured at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the NY Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, on Comedy Central, the New York Times, and sold out shows around the country and abroad.
